To celebrate our favorite color turning 30, we dug into our catalog archive for some historical inspiration. Because cycling caps from the early '90s were rather simple designs, the catalog cover from our Fall 1987 stood out. Its geometric graphic elements combined with fluorescent colors create a super fun and highly visible cycling cap.
This shirt has the look and supple feel of a classic flannel, but it’s made with a high-quality recycled polyester. For life on two wheels, it incorporates a pleated design at the shoulder to give added mobility and an easy reach to the handlebar. From early morning commutes to late nights by the fire, this piece covers your every adventure.
If you find yourself digging dirt jumps or railing loose and loamy trails, a bit of extra ankle protection can be a great thing. That’s why we made the Launch Mid WRX. This mid-top flat pedal shoe is constructed on the same platform as the Launch Flat, with added ankle and heel protection and a gusseted tongue to keep out dirt and debris. Because trail conditions can be highly variable, the Launch Mid WRX uses a water-repellent membrane to keep the elements at bay. Laces can be a hassle when covered in mud and grime so the Launch Mid WRX relies on a BOA® Fit System to make fit adjustments a breeze. The rubber experts at Goodyear® developed a compound that is sticky and long-wearing, which we mold into our chevron-shaped PinLoc tread to keep your feet planted and in control even in slippery conditions.
Our premium gravel shoe blends the lightweight and stiffness of a road shoe with the durability of a mountain bike shoe. The Gravel X™ is ready for your fast gravel adventures with a full carbon sole to maximize power transfer. The glove-like fit of the 3D knit upper combined with the micro-adjustable BOA® Fit System gives the Gravel X™ unrivaled comfort on day-long rides. This knit construction and perforated tongue are breathable, lightweight and quick-drying. We know that gravel grinding can be dirty work, so we wrapped the toe and edges of the Gravel X in a scuff-resistant TPU layer and incorporated a mud-shedding open tread sole design.
A great shoe for gravel riding needs attributes of both road and mountain shoes. Equally at home on gravel, XC trails or all-day adventures. We borrowed technology from our X-Project so that neither walkability or pedaling stiffness suffer. Then cut the upper from a durable 1-piece synthetic leather and added perforations to let feet breathe. A single L6 BOA closure provides equal pressure across the instep. Extra toe protection helps with errant stones and any extended or uphill hikes. A short EVA insert at the heel provides noticeable vibration damping to reduce fatigue on longer rides over rough roads.
In our quest to make the best-performing shoe possible, we used less, reducing the amount of material for the upper as well as the full carbon-fiber sole.
When it came time to develop our ultralight road shoe, we weren’t willing to sacrifice stiffness or comfort in the pursuit of weight savings. Weighing in at a feathery 150-grams for a size 42, the Pro Air is the lightest shoe we’ve ever produced and we did it without cutting corners. We joined forces with the carbon experts at Ruckus Composites to develop a revolutionary new carbon sole design that is 20-percent lighter than the impressively light Pro Road V5 sole without sacrificing stiffness. We weren’t willing to compromise durability or comfort either, so the Pro Air uses a mesh laminate upper with zonal construction to reinforce critical areas while shedding weight from regions where it isn’t needed. Despite the paltry gram count, the Pro Air is still fully-featured with a replaceable insole and lace keeper to keep the laces securely in place.
Reach for this shoe cover on those cold days when you’re not taking no for an answer. This is our very warmest shoe cover, thanks to three-layer AmFIB softshell fabric and a quilted lining with 100g Primaloft Gold with Crosscore technology. Plus, a durable water repellent (DWR) finish keeps your feet dry through most conditions. Our anatomic design eliminates the bunching that can happen near the top of the pedal stroke, and the patented two-stage hook-and-loop closure makes them easy to put on and take off, solving one of the most frustrating parts of using shoe covers.
Let’s get real; toe covers are a great way to deal with cold weather. They can be pulled over the toe of most cycling shoes and left on for the whole winter, and people do more miles on 45-degree days than they do on 25-degree days (even in Canada).
Use the P.R.O. Barrier WxB MTB Shoe Covers to keep your feet warm and dry in the sloppiest riding conditions. Made for treaded mountain bike shoes, these MTB shoe covers easily slip over your shoes and close with our two stage hook and loop closure.
When the conditions get wet, keep pedaling with the PRO Barrier WxB Shoe Covers. Our waterproof and breathable shoe covers will keep your feet warm and dry.
